video killed the radio star

Comic Book Fever are from Toronto, Canada. more info at their myspace. Loving their description of what they sound like; "50's pop having sex with 80's new wave, while punk rock mastubates in the corner."

playlist for 7/21/06: guest Eddy

Eddy was my co-pilot, and we vibed off each other. He played a track, then I played a track. It was fun. I've known him since high school, and we're the type of folks who would love to pick out music for tv shows, movies, and video games and then paid beaucoup dollars just because we listen to good music. (Sidenote; nothing was planned nor queued, which makes an interesting show because you just have to know your music)

video killed the radio star

One of my favorite bands that I missed when they came out has to be the cleverly named Suburban Kids With Biblical Names. They hail from Sweden, and you can find more info at their blog.

This Friday, I won't be in to do a live version of Push Play. Cross your fingers, it may be pre-recorded. At the very least, I'll upload some sort of mix later on to make up for it.
